Harald Berger
Short Biography
Assoc.Prof. Dr. Harald Berger studied Philosophy and German Studies at the University of Graz. He graduated as Mag.phil in 1989, earned his PhD in 2006 and his habilitation in Philosophy in 2010. Since 2012 he has been associate professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Graz, Section History of Philosophy. Professor Berger’s research area is medieval philosophy (including codicology, transmission and institutional history, editions, etc.). His teaching further includes important thinkers of early modern philosophy. His scientific work has issued so far in more than 60 publications as well as several research projects (most recently in a critical edition of Sophismata Alberti de Saxonia, edited by Dr. Mischa von Perger).
