Interfaculty Doctoral Program
The interdisciplinary doctoral program in philosophy started in winter semester 2011/ 2012. The program is primarily intended for doctoral students in philosophy but also for those who work on philosophical questions and issues related to philosophy in their dissertation. The participation of 14 professors from several different faculties of the Karl- Franzens- University Graz and from the University of Arts, such as Sociology, Law, Philology, Religious Studies, and Public Economics guarantees valuable insights from other disciplines as well as an interdisciplinary promotion of individual research projects.
By participating in the doctoral program participants will receive the possibility of interdisciplinary exchange and will be able to learn about a variety of substantive approaches, theories and methods.
